The Tahanang Pinakamasaya TV is about the story of a former local politician who was scammed by his supposedly trusted supporters and friends. In his vanity to be a municipal mayor someday, he slowly climbed up the political ladder from a Baranggay Tanod to be elected as Baranggay Kagawad. The local polititian boldly announced that if he wins the baranggay election he will bring the baranggay to progress and make it well known once he becomes mayor. Thus he was nicknamed as Yorma or Mayor when syllables are reversed.
Betrayed by the supposedly campaign managers and supporters, Yorma was scammed of the campaign funding and was left with creditors for campaign materials, venues, food and wages for the employed supporters. Yorma was forced to sell his mansion sized house to pay off his debts. Despite the unfortunate incident, the people elected Yorma as their Bararanggay Chairman.
Unable to track the scammers, Yorma continued living in his farm where he runs a poultry of egg laying chickens and ducks. Living with him is his arrogant nephew Paulo who was actually the one who made Yorma as the nickname for his uncle. With them is their long time house keeper and cook Charitz who was an ophan from the province. Because of her loyalty to the magtiyuhin (uncle and nephew) and since she has no where to go back to, Charitz decided to stay with the magtiyuhin to help out in the house and the egg laying chickens and ducks business.
Together with the Yorma household is Budoy who is a loyal alipures (minion) of Paulo and a student who courts Charitz the housekeeper. And Bentong the Baranggay Social Worker who was supporting the magtiyuhin in secret. Bentong was rumored to be gay who likes Paulo but insisted that he came from a family of policemen and is a “real” man.
